Dear Residents,

When you interact with animals at farms, petting zoos, agricultural fairs, and other exhibitions this summer or fall, remember that even animals that appear healthy can carry germs that cause illness in people. The New Jersey Departments of Health (NJDOH), the New Jersey Department of Agriculture (NJDA), and Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission encourage you to stay safe around animals – for your health and theirs.
