Dear Residents,
This Saturday, October 26, 2025, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, a national event sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) that gives you a safe and easy way to dispose of old, unused, or expired medications.
Why join in?
- Unused medications can be found and misused by someone else.
- Proper disposal helps protect the environment (so meds don’t go into our water or trash).
- It’s free, anonymous, and only takes a few minutes.
How to participate:
- Gather any unwanted prescriptions or over-the-counter medicines in your home.
- Find the nearest drop-off site by entering your ZIP code here: Find your location
- Visit the event on Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m
- Bring your medicines in, no questions asked.
Tablets, capsules, and patches are OK. Liquids must be sealed in original containers. Please do not bring sharps (needles), syringes, or illicit drugs.
