Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission, in partnership with The Valley Hospital, provides public health nursing programs and support to our served communities in Bergen County for the purpose of protecting and promoting physical and mental health and preventing disease, injury, and disability.
Public health nursing practice incorporates the core public health functions of assessment, assurance, and policy development within the art and science of professional nursing practice. We work to prevent the spread of infectious diseases by providing immunizations, conducting disease surveillance and investigation, and educating the public about disease prevention measures.
Child Health Conference
