With extreme temperatures in the forecast this week, several emergency cooling centers will be open throughout the County from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM to help residents stay safe.

In addition, many municipalities are designating public spaces—such as libraries, shopping centers, recreation facilities, and senior centers—as local cooling centers. Residents should consider visiting municipal cooling centers before traveling to the County facility to help avoid heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
