Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission is proud to share our November 2024 Community Resource Spotlight on an organization that offers vital services to residents in Bergen County:

Cancer Education and Early Detection (CEED) Program

The Cancer Education and Early Detection (CEED) provides free cancer screenings to eligible residents of Bergen County, regardless of U.S. citizenship status. For men, prostate cancer screenings are offered with a PSA blood test and a rectal exam. For women, breast cancer screenings include mammograms and breast exams, while cervical cancer screenings include pelvic exams, Pap tests, and HPV tests. Both men and women are eligible for colorectal cancer screenings, which include a FIT test and colonoscopy, if indicated.
